Happy Birthday, Blog!

I don't remember quite when in July I started this blog, but I guess I'll celebrate it the 1st. Um...YAY!

Well, some friends from a different state came to visit today and it was a lot of fun to spend time with them after not seeing them for so long. Especially my friend C.

Also, as you will see below, are two pots I found while cleaning out my closet. I mod-podged scraps from old teenvogue magazines onto them, then planting grass (I don't have a green thumb, so I don't want to waste money on cool plants...lame excuse, I know).

Also, I'm finally getting around to accepting the awards given to me from Adela at Pink Champagne Fashion. Thank you, friend! I'm not sure of the specifics for the awards, so I'm just copying what Adela did for them.

LIKES:

2. Curling up with my cat.

3. Henna tatts. So much fun.

1. Fake tans.

went to an art exhibit at the time bomb with adela, maria (from ofteacupsandtoadstools.blogspot.com), and j. The theme of the art, which was mostly portraits of people and fish, was identity and isolation. some of the portraits were done on squares of cardboard, which i thought was an inventive way to do it.

Adela wants to use this last picture in one of the Style Watch for the newspaper. very cute outfit.

Sorry I haven't been on in about three weeks - it's not (completely) because I've been busy, but I've been unsure of what to blog about! Running out of ideas is so tragic! So two things to address in this post; please comment if you have any suggestions.

1. How do you imbed a video (i.e. youtube) onto your blog instead of pasting a link? If you know how, please explain step by step as I am horrible with computer-related things.

2. Is there anything you would like me to post about in particular - more of something I've posted about in the past, for instance, that you'd like me to do more of? I am almost totally drained of inspiration.
