a bright bright Easter day

Happy Easter!
I awoke at the ridiculously early hour of 7:00 (for a weekend anyway) and journeyed over to my neighbors' yard to have a photoshoot with their forsythia bush (there isn't one in our yard -- don't worry, I asked ahead of time. :)). The lighting was perfect because the sun was just rising.
Last night our neighbors (yes, the same ones) were gone on a trip and asked us to babysit their dog. WELL. Kitty-Diddy wasn't too happy about that. It was funny watching them confront each other; they'd stand and stare for minutes, and then the dog would yap at her. He's back at his home now, but Kitty is still searching the house for him.
Argh, I've had the song Macavity from "Cats" stuck in my head for three days now...
"Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on." ~1 Peter 1.3
peace.

beautiful leaf pics. oh wait - forsythia i mean! my sister had to look up what those flowers are called ... for the life of me, i couldn't remember. i just knew them as the yellow bushes that bloom first in spring. I'm glad you're more vocab savvy than me.

hihi thank you, but I didn't use a pattern, they're terribly easy to make, just sew two reversed squares of fabric together but leave a little hole unsewed, then turn the wole inside out and sew the little little hole too.
Tie a ribbon in the middle glue the whole thing to a hairpin and voila... a brandnew hairbow!
I hope I made it a bit clear (cause I am terrible at explaining stuff!)

Really beautiful pictures btw, they made me even more exhited for spring then I already was :D

Thank you for your lovely comment! I really don't know which camera it is, the school lent it to my friends and I just posed for the pictures. But I'll ask my photography teacher and get back to you - all I know is that it uses film, it's not digital.

And I love your pictures!

Lovely photographs, so spring-like, so happy and hopeful...as if the trees have been reborn...if that makes sense.
